Story Board

My newest research project was creating a story board. Now you may be thinking Emily, what even is a story board? Well your in luck because even if some of you already know I'm still going to explain it anyway. 

A story board is a sequence of drawings that represents what sort of angles and directions you plan to use in your real project. So its basically a drawn step by step guide for you to follow. Typically they have dialogue under it or even some sort of explanations on what shot that is in the boxed frame. The picture just above is a quick sketch of what order I will be filming my How To video in .... Yes I know not the best drawing but you tell me how to draw a camera in a tiny box. Whats so great about story boards is that they let you visualize what you want your video to look like letting you come up with other sequences and also growing from it since no matter how much research you do it never goes the exact way you originally thought. As they say genius strikes when its least expected. One thing I would change is  going back to my story board and would be making sure I include some sort of dialogue or even camera angle  names and directions. This is so its way more clear and easier to understand when reading it.
